It was during this last meeting that Invictus Gaming crossed the symbolic 10,000 kills mark in LPL, making this Chinese team the first team in the history of the league.
Considered one of the title favourites, Invictus Gaming has spent some time as the best team in the world, mainly by winning the League of Legends World Championship in 2018.
In recent months/years, Invictus Gaming has won the 2018 Demacia Cup and the 2019 Spring Split playoffs; in the last segment, she finished first overall in the LPL standings at the end of the regular season, but lost in the semifinals of the playoffs (final score 3-1 against Top Esports).
